Targeted youth justice services - proposal
Greater Together is interested in developing ideas with providers for the development of services to meet the needs of Youth Justice agencies across Lancashire, e.g. specialist triage services and a volunteer mentoring service. The board is interested to hear from specialist providers who might wish to develop ideas for such services, with a view to securing a significant amount of investment from a funder; offering to change lives and improve communities across Lancashire through a new collaborative approach. GT Member, Barnardo’s, is interested in developing its partnership with Lancashire Probation Trust, for the development of a Volunteer Mentoring Service. There may be an opportunity for a specialised set of providers interested to work with Barnardo's to apply for some pilot funding to provide a Volunteer Mentoring Service provision within Lancashire.  The intervention to manage risk, change lives and improve communities is a key objective.
