Greater Together and Families Health and Well Being Lancashire Victims Service

On behalf of the current delivery partners across our membership, we are very disappointed at the recent outcome of the Lancashire Victims Service tender and we know that this will have massive impact on those partners who have been, and are currently providing a fantastic service to victims across the County.  Greater Together and Families, Health and Wellbeing’s respective Boards are requesting a meeting with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to reassure our Boards and members involved, that the transition of the services across to the new provider will be thorough and seamless, with minimum effect on individual service users within the communities which we serve across Lancashire. Hopefully this will afford us the opportunity to discuss the impact that this new service model will have on the service users and the on the current VCFS providers.

Greater Together and the Families, Health and Wellbeing Consortium firmly believe that together as a united Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social enterprise/business consortia, we can learn more, progress faster and deliver better than we can apart and therefore have a duty to collaborate for the benefit of those we serve.
We stand by our vision and the commitment to support our members but more importantly to ensure our members continue to be able to support children, young people, adults and families, including the most disadvantaged and vulnerable; to ensure they are able to achieve their full potential.
We will always continue to explore opportunities to support our members and the Sector, to identify opportunities where consortia is the best approach to support our communities and to be successful in winning future significant resources to support this vision.

GT and FHWB will be meeting to discuss options to establish a strong and united strategy to ensure that local services and delivery partners are protected by a pan Lancashire organisational structure for the VCF sector.

Kind regards
